How do I use my own domain with my EasyBroker website?

If you don’t have a domain name you will need to purchase one. You can purchase a domain name at websites such as GoDaddy.com. After you’ve purchased your domain you need to update the domain name servers for your domain to the following name servers

Keep in mind that if you currently host your email with this domain name at another host you should inform us of the service you use before making any changes to avoid any disruption in your email service.

If you need the IPs of the domain name servers you can use

  • ns1.easybroker.com => 67.23.4.57

How do I configure my domain and nameservers with GoDaddy.com?

If your purchased your domain name at GoDaddy.com you can take the following steps to use your domain name with EasyBroker.

Keep in mind that if you currently host your email with this domain name at another host you should inform us of the service you use before making any changes to avoid any disruption in your email service.

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, select Domain Manager.
  3. Click on the domain name you want to modify.
  4. Click Nameservers.
  5. Select: I host my domains with another provider
  6. Enter the following nameservers
    • ns1.easybroker.com
    • ns2.easybroker.com
    • ns3.easybroker.com
  7. Click OK.

How do I edit web pages on my website?

After you create a website, you should edit your company information, contact details and everything you want to show to leads, colleagues or friends.

To do so follow these instructions:

1. Go to the Your Website tab on the menu.Your website

2. In this window you will find a menu with all your website pages. You can edit them clicking on the Edit button on the right side and it will take you to the editor.Page editor

3. Once in the editor, you can start editing the content on your home page. At the top of the page you can choose the page you want to edit from the Edit dropdown box.Choose the page

3. Click on one of the pencils where you would like to change the content.

4. Enter or edit the content in the page editor that appears at the top of the page and click Update to save your changes. Press Update to save

5. Continue editing by clicking the other pencils or you can choose to edit any other page with the Edit dropdown at the top of the page. For example, if you want to add your phone number, address, email, etc. to your contact page choose Contact Us from the Edit dropdown. You can then edit the content just as you did in step 4.Edit Contact Us information

6. To add new pages to your menu, you can follow the same steps in the post New web page for Generating Home Owner Leads.

How do I add a meta description or keywords to my web page?

Take the following steps to add a meta description or keywords to any of your web pages

  • Choose the page you want to edit in the Page Editor Menu (Your Website tab).
  • Click on the Edit Details button.Edit files
  • You’ll se the fields you need to complete such as Description and Keywords. If you hace doubts you can click on the question mark button and it will give more ideas and explanations.Add metatags

How do I edit the main menu of my website?

To add an item to the main menu on your site, follow the instructions below. You can add or delete pages with links to your site or other websites.

  • Go to the Your Website tab and then click on Edit of the Index page. Page editor
  • Click on any of the menu items on the main menu. Main menu
  • Select Add New Item in the menu editor that is shown (point 1). Menu Editor
  • Type the name of the new menu item you want to add (point 2).
  • Choose where you would like the menu item to link which can be a page on your website or a web page from a different website. For example, to make the menu item link to the Welcome page, select Welcome to %company_name in the Web Page drop down (point 3) and then press the Create button.
  • To remove a menu item, in the same window roll over the menu items in the left side bar and click the delete link (point 4).
  • To reorder the menu items, click the menu item in the left sidebar and drag it to the position where you would like it to appear (point 4).
  • Click the X in the top right corner when your finished editing menu items (point 5).

How do I add vacation rentals to my website?

  • Make sure you have Enable Vacation Rentals checked under your organization settings.
  • Familiarize yourself with the steps for editing the menu of your website above and add a new menu item.
  • Enter the title for the new menu item and select the radio button A web page on your website.Add vacation rentals to your menu
  • From the Web Page dropdown select properties – Vacation Rentals and press the Create button to finish adding the new menu item.

How do I change the photos on the home page of the left sidebar with the Archetype theme?

  • Choose the picture you want to use to replace the current image with. For best results the photo should be 300 x 100 pixels.
  • Go to the Your Website tab and then click on Edit of the Index page. Page editor
  • You’ll be presented with the edit. Click on the Manage Files button. Manage files
  • Click on Upload files on the right side and select the photo you want to use. You can choose more than one at the same time.Select upload files
  • After you’ve finished uploading the photos, open the web page editor.
  • Click on the sidebar image you want to change.
  • Select the image you want in the Image dropdown box.
  • Press the Update button to save your changes.Choose the new photos

How do I mark a property as featured?

Mark a property as featured so that it will show up on the home page of your EasyBroker website with the following steps

  • Edit the property that you would like to mark as featured
  • Go to the last step (5)
  • Check the check box Publish as a featured property on my website
  • Save the property by clicking Save and close or Publish button

How do I add a new page on my website?

  • Go to Your Website tab on your EasyBroker account
  • Click Edit on any page
  • On the web page Editor, click on the New Page button on the top right.New page
  • The page ID is the name of the page link New Page creation
  • On Tittle write the name of the new page, like Terms and Conditions
  • On Description write a short description with no more than 140 words of this new page.
  • On Keywords write words that are related with this page separated with comma. Try to be as accurate as possible.
  • Click on Create

To add this new page to your website menu, you can follow the Edit the Menu steps.
